HCG Phase 2 Recipes: Fish and Seafood

Great ways to cook fish and seafood that will invigorate your taste buds, while slimming your waist and thighs!

hCG for Weight Loss

Curry Shrimp

3.5 oz. shrimp
Minced onion
1 t minced garlic
1/2 C chicken broth
1/2 t curry powder 
1/4 t cumin 
Salt/black pepper (to taste)

Preheat medium sauce pan over medium heat.
Add ¼ cup chicken broth, garlic and onions.  Saute for about 3 minutes.

Add remaining broth and curry, cumin, salt and pepper.  Saute for about 1 minute.
Add shrimp and cook until translucent about 5-10 minutes.

Serve immediately.

 

Doug’s Shrimp Stuffed Tomatoes

400g cleaned and cooked shrimp 
2 medium tomatoes
4 T parsley
4 t lemon juice
6 t minced garlic
4 t horseradish
½ t stevia
½ t salt
½ t pepper
4 splashes of Tabasco

Note: Recipe Yields 4 Servings

Carefully cut off the top of the tomatoes. Use a spoon to scoop out the insides, forming a small bowl. Place the top and removed tomato into a food processor and add all ingredients, except shrimp.  Blend until smooth.

Place shrimp into food processor with tomato mixture.  Pulse several times to lightly chop up the shrimp and blend.

Cover shrimp mixture and tomatoes, refrigerate with 2 serving plates for about 1 hour.
Spoon shrimp mixture into tomatoes, place additional mix onto serving plates.
Decorate with additional sprinkles of parsley, serve.

In Phase 3 of the HCG Diet, the amount of food allowed is dramatically increased, providing many more choices for dieters.

Citrus fish

100g whitefish
1 T minced onion
1 t minced garlic
1 t paprika
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 large pinch of Stevia
Lemon and orange slices
Chopped parsley
Salt and pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  
Mix lemon juice with onion, garlic, paprika and stevia. Baste fish with mixture and top
with salt, pepper, and lemon and orange slices. Wrap in aluminum foil and
place in oven at 350 degrees for 5-10 minutes or until fish is thoroughly cooked. Serve with lemon and top with parsley.

Teriyaki Whitefish

100g whitefish
2 cloves minced garlic
2 T Bragg Liquid Aminos
1 T rice vinegar
1 t paprika
1 t ginger
1 pinch salt and pepper

Mix Bragg Liquid Aminos, rice vinegar, paprika, garlic, ginger, salt and pepper in a dish.
Place whitefish in marinade and coat on both sides.
Seal and refrigerate for 30 mins - 1 hr, turning several times.. 
Heat medium size pan over medium heat.
Remove fish from marinade and cook 3-4 mins per side until fish flakes.
